I’m not unearthing any real secrets here…Commune Design is super well-known for all kinds of amazing work, not least of which the Ace Hotels…I have long time been a fan of their quintessentially California vibe and especially the way they combine vintage with handcrafted elements…How amazing is this patchwork stair runner?
This is what the outside of my dream Jungalow looks like. Those agave are amazing, aren’t they?
I love this idea of adding cement tile around the fire place. Since tile can be pricey, seems like a great way to add the tile to the living room without having to spend a fortune.
You know a love a yellow couch. It pairs so well with those amazing pillow (how great is that bolster?) and obv I love that kilim covered ottoman.
In this vignette I love the hanging rug as curtain idea. Sexy.
And what a cozy bedroom. I could do without the taxidermy but I sure do love the bedding and the banana rocking chair in back…
This paint color is stunning and once again…a rug as curtain. Love it.
My next bed *will* be a platform bed. Mark my words. Love the floor pillows on the bed here too. And the pipe sconce is hot.
Also, Commune just came out with a new book. And I’m proud to say the the same team I’m working with at Abrams on my book worked with Commune on this one. Fancy. Order the new Commune book here. Feeling inspired? I sure am. I’m going to now go ahead and put rugs in all my doorways. Have a creative weekend my friends.
