Whenever I get a chance to visit botanical gardens, or even simply peruse neighborhood nursery, I glean so many decor ideas. In the above pic, I love to see those two pots stacked on top of each other. It’s a great way to create height without spending a fortune on a MCM planter. Also, hanging donkey tail succulents are my jam. Lush without the fuss.
How about an old spiral staircase leading up to a plantastic wonderland like in the botanical gardens in Copenhagen, huh??
And here’s an idea…let’s put up a bunch of skylights and drizzle cacti overhead, yes? Yes!
Let’s plant drought tolerant cacti and succulents in a variety of colors in our yards and put them on different levels…
In short, let’s live like this–and put plants everywhere (and get tin ceilings :P) !! Ha! Have a jungalicious Monday, friends!

Love this post! With cacti and succulents, you can get colour without having to be good enough to grow flowers! You can even pull one out of the garden and put it in water for display for a while.
I found a great how-to manual from the 70’s on growing these plants. It’s for sale in my shop etsy.com/shop/sagebespoke

Such a good point! I feel like succulents are kind of like the floweriest of the plants ;-) ha!

This post is right up my alley! I’ve spent a lot of time in Botanical Gardens and Nurseries. So inspiring. Yet another reason why to love Jungalow! I’m new to you but am enjoying it all. So fresh and cool!

The Pillow was not made to be isolated in a gallery space (making its exhibition problematic), in which
the expertise of seeing it and the questions it raises may be
compartmentalised and separated from on a regular basis issues.

I’d love to live inside any one of those!
