The other day I was craving pizza and decided it would be a fun weekend activity to make pizzas with Ida. I found this gluten-free pizza crust mix at my local health-food store and then we picked up some very colorful veggies….
After following the directions on the pizza dough prep (which basically involved yeast, olive oil, eggs and water) I prepped all of the veggies and made a ‘toppings’ bar so that we could each decorate our own little pizzas. Ida also helped out with kneading the dough. We then added some tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella.
She had a blast picking out which veggies to decorate her pizza with…and so did I actually. And I went full on ROYGBiV with my pizza…
And then the best part….sitting on our patio and enjoying our pizzette.
It was really pretty fun (and yummy!) and would be a great little activity for a pizza party, too. Buon appetito!
