Joanna Williams is one of those people who I run into a lot–online and off. I run into her Pinterest page almost everyday, since it’s one of my favorites. I bump into her at the Echo Park Craft fair and at Sqirl, (and her IG feed is always a treat too.) I’ve long since been a fan of her vibe and her vibrant, laid-back style is always on point. When Joanna invited me to check out her studio in Atwater Village last time we crossed paths I was all over it…
Joanna is a treasure hunter. She travels around the world in search of inspiring pieces that she then archives and sells to her clients in the fashion, beauty and home decor sectors to use as inspiration for their collections. She specializes in textiles. I know. Dreamy job, right?
Joanna has got a really great eye and she loves color, pattern and mixing things from from different corners of the world together (sound familiar? :P). I’m obsessed with that necklace made of copper wire and yarn…do I feel a DIY coming on??
The other part of her business is Kneeland Co. an online marketplace where she sells her found goods to the public. I’ll take one of everything please!
…especially these flip flops!! Like what??
Thanks so much for having me, Joanna! If you ever feel like trading jobs with someone for a few weeks, I’m your gal ;)
