You know I like it wild, right…I mean in home decor, sheesh people! Well in order for things to be wild enough around here, it is necessary to add a touch of wildlife, like these realistic little fine feathered friends from Iota Bristol (place put a bird on it joke here…) I like to perch mine (besides on my shoulder) in the corner of the bookshelf or a top a hanging plant (and out of reach of Luda the cat)–These little birdies make people do a double-take when the enter the room (which I love!)
Today you’re gonna get a chance to win a couple birdies (a parrot and a budgie) and a string of these hand-painted ceramic lights (yes you read that correctly–they’re CERAMIC!) So here’s what you do to win: Check out Iota Bristol and then come back here and tell me where you’d put you’re little bird! Would you wear yours like I like to do? Or have you got other plans for your tropical friends?
$104 USD Value. Winner will be chosen at random on Tuesday June 24th at 5PM PST. Winner will be contacted via email after comments close, and announced at the bottom of this post. International entries welcome.

Oh, what a fun giveaway! I love the Iota Bristol shop and I am now happily following on Twitter!!
Okay- as for the little birdies, I have a vintage bird cage that currently houses an old plastic baby Jesus from a vintage manger set. I’ll either kick him out or perhaps the birdies could move in with him.
Or, I’ll perch them in some hanging planters in the kitchen!!
Thanks for the opportunity!

Hi! I would put one in my plants. Probably move it around like a living where’s waldo for my son :-)

Oh my!! What a lovely website!! So much goodness! I would place these little birds by my vanity, so in the a.m. when I am getting ready for the day I can feel like a Disney princess surrounded by lovely feathered friends ;) And those lights would look great hanging in my back yard on a nice warm Cali summer night.
Rachel says
I love the birds! One by my bedside table because it would be fun to wake up to. And the other… maybe in my son’s room because it would be fun for him to wake up to!
And the lights – without question in our backyard along the creek. So romantic.

Birds make me smile and make me think of summer, i have named my two daughters after birds. (it is less weird than it sounds, in The Neterlands :-))
I will put the birds on my fruitbasket, as if they are to take a nibble of a juicy orange.

how lovely… So glad international entries are welcome :-) My birds would perch on my old bird feeder that doesn’t get used and is feeling lonely.

wow – these birds are amazing! i would love for the little bird to live on my desk, and my son would love having a bird-friend in his room.

I am five months pregnant and working on a nursery – so I would definitely put the birds in there, and maybe the lights, too. So cute!

My little birdies would perch on my mantle, which needs a bright spot of color!

Oooh! I have two spider plants perched up high by my windows. They’ll look fabulous there!
Iota Bristol is an amazing shop! At first glance it’s “nice”, and then it becomes lovely, and then clever, and then pretty hilarious. Visiting their site was ver rewarding. I’ll be back!

These birds are so sweet. I’d put a bird atop my white iron headboard.

Oh my goodness, what a coincidence! I actually saw that picture above on Pinterest yesterday and pinned it, thinking it was a real bird. On closer inspection I realized it wasn’t, but really couldn’t believe it. I actually have a pet lovebird, name Loro, who is peach face and very similar sized to these little bird beauties. I can’t even imagine what he would think if I had one around!! I imagine putting some new little birdies on the shelves in my place would make my guests do a double, or even triple take! The shop is darling too, a nice surprise all around!

If I had your beautiful thick hair, I would wear it in my hair. Since I don’t the bird will have to sit on my shoulder. I love all the critters on her website. They are so delightful and give me smiles.

Absolutely in my hair – to contextualise my usual do and for enhanced piraticism (which is totally a word by the way)

My bird would live on my fireplace mantel. Definitely. So cute!

I would attach that little budgie to a bowl of fruit that is sitting next to the hand painted birdie Tiffin that I must have! Thanks for the opportunity!

!What fantastic prizes!
I love how you’ve used the bird…I’d perch one in a planter…
What a gorgeous, inspiring website.

I’d put the bird atop my curtain rod…or on the cable that goes to my lamp and hangs right across my wall.
The lights however would go around my headbord.
Also, I love the lambswoolblanket from the store…and the Kimono- robe.

Hello! I would drag a large branch from outside into my daughter’s room, and perch the birdie on it to give my daughter good dreams. I would occasionally borrow birdie to sit atop my tall headwrap (it would have a “bird’s eye” view!)
Lota Bristol….FABULOUS, especially the light up bunnies.
Thank you so much!

I am lucky enough that i have been to the Iota Bristol shops and is is just as perfectly peachy as it looks in the photos!
I think I would go for a big straw hat and wander through a flower meadow with the little birdie on my hat keeping me company!

Beautiful store!
I would share the birdies with two friends – both have real birds just like these, and they would love them! But I would keep the lights all to myself, and hang them above my work desk to make the area more special.
